Server Recycling

How is a Server Recycled?

A server is evaluated to see if it is in working condition and can to be reintroduced to market. If it is, the hard drives are removed and completely destroyed (see photos under our Security Tab.) All distinguishing features such as labels, stickers, or identification numbers are removed, new hard drives are then inserted and the finished product is sold.

When a server is determined to be obsolete, which is often the case, it is completely dismantled. Each component is introduced into the commodities market (steel, wire, circuit boards, etc.).
